Accounts Administrator

• Work out of our East Melbourne Office - Hybrid working arrangement
• 3 month initial contact with potential to extend to 6 months

Fantastic opportunity is now available for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our high-performing Finance team on a 3-month initial contact in our East Melbourne Office. This role will focus primarily on bank reconciliations for a major account and provide support to the Accounts Payable team during peak periods. You will also assist the accountants with journal entries during month-end and offer support during audits.

Responsibilities

• Bank matching and reconciliations
• Assist Accounts Payable Team with processing, coding, reporting and vendor statement reconciliation
• Assist Finance Team during audits and ad-hoc busy periods
• Leave support for various Finance Team members when required
• Journal entries
• Ad-hoc administration duties

About you

• You will have 3+ yrs in bank reconciliation role with Accounts Payable knowledge and basic accounting skills
• You will have intermediate to advanced Excel skills along with experience in finance systems
• Studying Accounting or desire to grow career in the accounting field highly valued
• AP and basic accounting knowledge are ideal but not essential.
• Exposure to the Health industry is ideal but not essential
• A team player who can effectively work autonomously and comfortable with ambiguity
