About the Role

We are opening up an exciting and rare opportunity for a Sonographer Trainee to join our Sonographer training program, based at our Capital Radiology Footscray Western Private Hospital clinic. This will be a permanent, full-time position. 

Commencement of sonography training would be desirable whether through completed modules in a Sonographer Training Program or at least one year of supervised study toward a recognised sonography qualification.

You will have an opportunity to be mentored and taught by highly skilled Sonographers across our North and West metro regions. We are looking for a student who is enthusiastic, values driven, and love working collaboratively to join the program.

Ideal Candidates Will Have

• Already undertaken modules of a Sonographer Training Program
• Or, have completed 1 year of supervised study as part of a Sonographer training program
• Have 2 years of patient facing clinical experience, ideally as a Radiographer
• The ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
• Excellent communication skills, strong patient focus and high level of attention to detail
