Future Medical Imaging Group (FMIG) is a network of six radiology clinics based in the northwest of Melbourne. Known for specialised medical imaging services including X-Ray, CT, US, MRI, OPG and Cephalograms, FocusNeuro Tremor Treatment, MRgFUS or HIFU, CT Coronary Angiography, CT Colonography, Mammography, Contrast Enhanced Mammography, DEXA or Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, Autologous Blood Injection, Nuclear Medicine and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Injection.
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the community radiology setting delivers safe compassionate clinical care; working collaboratively with the radiology team to achieve best practice patient outcomes. The RN engages in reflective, analytical practice through effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of direct person-centered care. The RN continually improves their skills and knowledge developing from graduate to highly skilled Registered Nurse.
This is a full-time role based at Future Medical Imaging Group (FMIG) Hawthorn, it will also require rotation to our FMIG Moonee Ponds clinic.
You Will Have
Effective time management
Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on empathy, discretion and customer service
An understanding of current medical imaging nursing practices is preferred but not essential
Able to assist with interventional procedures, both pre and post procedural workup and after-care is required
