About The Role

Excellent opportunity for a customer service superstar to join our casual pool as a Medical Receptionist. As part of our casual admin cohort, you will be required to be available for rostering across the below Melbourne East Metro clinics, the role is ideal for someone who has a flexible schedule and is looking to pick up sporadic shifts on a casual contract. 

As a medical receptionist you will be responsible for

• Managing all phone enquiries in a timely, professional and confidential manner
• Front of house reception / greeting patients upon arrival
• Schedule appointments for patients and referrers
• Issue patient invoices/receipts and process Medicare rebates as required
• Enter and update patient registration details
• Ensure the reception and waiting area is clean and presentable at all times

This is an outstanding opportunity for those who are eager to learn, driven, resilient and empathetic, whilst also possessing a strong customer service background.

• Direct Radiology South Melbourne 
• FMIG Hawthorn

You Will Have

• Strong customer service and patient focus skills
• Access to a car or near good public transport links to travel to all sites 
• Eagerness to learn
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• High level of attention to detail and confidentiality
• Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
• Experience in a Radiology background, as well as exposure to Medicare services will be highly regarded
