ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Administration Services Manager and the Regional Services Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and day to day running of the reception staff at our Eaton location that provides a suite of Medical Imaging services to local referrers.

As the Administration Supervisor, you will be expected to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the business. You will need a resilient, “can do” attitude with flexibility being key. Eaton is an expanding environment in the Southwest Region. You will be required to supervise the patient administration team to deliver quality, customer focused standards of care to our patients and the smooth and efficient functioning of the practice whilst also contributing as a member of the reception team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the site administration team including recruitment and ongoing training of staff, roster management in accordance with budget allocation, accurate patient bookings, arrivals, and payments.
  • Calendar Management of Patient bookings and enquiries to ensure site efficiency and use of technical staff time
  • Ensuring Patients are informed of pre procedure preparation and accurate estimation of fees.
  • Liaise with technical staff and practitioners regarding service bookings
  • Ensuring all daily processes are completed including billing off all patients, site report follow-up

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience managing and coordinating successful teams, including performance management, rostering, training, and coordinating workflow
  • A demonstrated background in administration, medical, not for profit and booking centre
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and administration practices & processes relevant to healthcare environments – radiology advantageous
  • An understanding and aptitude for all billing policies and procedures (including Medicare, DVA, Work Cover and Inpatient billing).
  • Working knowledge and experience with RIS/PACs’ system is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally.
  • Ability to add value through a continuous improvement mindset.

This a full-time position working Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:00am and 8:00pm with occasional Saturday and Sunday shifts. This is your opportunity to make a positive move to lead our dynamic administration team in Eaton and be part of Apex Radiology!
